40K For Old Men Podcasts: Episode 14

Episode 14, titled "Got A Demi(urg) On!", of the 40K For Old Men Podcast is now available on www.40kfom.com or to download through iTunes.

This episode is a one-on-one between the show's host and me, talking all about Codex: Demiurg Warhost.

40K For Old Men - Fail

Oh well. Due to only getting around 4 hours sleep in 5 days I was not in a suitable condition to take part in the 40KFOM Podcast Episode 8.

This means that my 'Army of the Week' slot had to be replaced at very short notice. Luckily the rest of the guys all had the Dark Eldar codex to hand. I look forward to hearing the finished episode and the guys comments on the new Dark Eldar.

Next time we will be moving onto a different game system, most likely Necromunda as there are a few of us taking part in new campaigns. Other possibilities include historical wargaming. At some point in the future we plan on having a dedicated Focused Firepower podcast.

I will be showcasing Codex: Demiurg Warhost in a future episode.

Once editing of Episode 8 is complete I will post an update to indicate that it is available. You can listen to previous episodes directly on www.40KFOM.com or you can download them for free from the iTunes Store. Please note the first few lack content due to the influence of Auzzies.

40K For Old Men - Coming “shortly”... in Episode 8

Recording on Friday 19th November 2010 (and available to download here and via iTunes as soon as possible after that date), Episode 8 of the 40K for Old Men podcast.

In our ‘Army of the week’ feature, we will be discussing the fine creative efforts of our very own fog99uk – Codex: Demiurg. An excellent ‘home brew’ codex and a modern take on the long-gone but not forgotten Squats in GW’s Warhammer 40K universe.

Download a copy of his excellent work here: CODEX DEMIURG

The episode will also include a discussion of proxying and alternative models in miniatures games, as well as our usual gaming ramble!
